- Reference and comparison evaluation
Aventris products are not medicines, therapeutic goods, foods, supplements, APIs, veterinary products, medical devices, or diagnostic tools for clinical decision-making.
2. Prohibited Uses
Aventris materials must not be used for any of the following:
- Human consumption or self-administration, by any route
- Animal administration (including pets, livestock, or research animals)
- Diagnostic, therapeutic, prophylactic, clinical, cosmetic, wellness, or performance-related purposes
- Manufacture, compounding, or formulation of finished pharmaceutical or supplement products
- Marketing or describing materials in a manner that suggests health-related benefits
By purchasing from Aventris, customers agree that materials will be used only within RUO scope and not diverted to prohibited applications.
3. Regulatory Position (Australia)
Aventris does not supply therapeutic goods and does not promote any product for therapeutic, diagnostic, or clinical use. Products are not registered or approved therapeutic goods in any jurisdiction.

Aventris does not provide medical advice, treatment guidance, dosing information, claims regarding safety, efficacy, or health outcomes, or statements implying therapeutic suitability or clinical benefit.
Customers are solely responsible for determining the legal status, import requirements, and permitted use of materials within their jurisdiction and institutional environment. Aventris does not provide legal or regulatory advice regarding any specific compound.
4. Laboratory Oversight & Safety Responsibility
Customers are responsible for ensuring that materials are used only within legitimate laboratory research environments under appropriate oversight and internal governance frameworks.
- All safety controls, risk assessments, and SOPs are the responsibility of the customer
- Aventris does not supervise post-delivery conditions or provide handling protocols
- Customers must ensure secure control of materials to prevent unauthorised access or misuse
- Customers are responsible for safe handling, storage, and disposal of all materials in accordance with applicable laws and appropriate laboratory safety practices
5. First Aid & Emergency Contact
In the event of accidental exposure during laboratory handling:
- Skin contact: Wash thoroughly with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing. Seek medical attention if irritation persists.
- Eye contact: Flush immediately with clean water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical attention.
- Inhalation: Move to fresh air immediately. Seek medical attention if symptoms develop.
- Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Rinse mouth with water. Seek immediate medical attention.

6. Age & Account Eligibility
By purchasing from Aventris, the customer certifies that they:
- Are at least 18 years of age
- Are a qualified individual or organisation operating within a legitimate RUO context
- Understand and agree to the non-clinical, non-therapeutic status of these materials
7. Right to Refuse Supply
Aventris reserves the right to review, refuse, suspend, cancel, or limit orders or accounts where misuse concerns, diversion risk, or non-RUO intent is identified. No obligation exists to supply materials where compliance concerns arise.
8. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this statement is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any guarantee, right, or remedy conferred by the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) or any other applicable legislation, to the extent that such guarantee, right, or remedy cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by agreement.
9. Indemnification
Indemnification obligations relating to the misuse, improper handling, or unlawful application of Aventris materials are set out in the Legal Disclaimer and apply to all purchases. By purchasing from Aventris, customers acknowledge and accept those obligations.
10. Governing Law
This statement is governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia. The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and the Federal Court of Australia.
11. Amendments
Aventris may update this Safety & Regulatory Statement from time to time to reflect changes in operational standards, legal requirements, or internal compliance controls. The current version will be available on this page with the revision date.
12. Relationship to Other Policies
This statement should be read alongside Aventris' Legal Disclaimer, Research Use Agreement, Product Use Policy, Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy. In the event of any inconsistency, the Legal Disclaimer shall prevail.
